In 2022 I completed a two week long exercise to see how far I could get creating a fantasy rogue-like map with my own original gray box assets from start to finish based on my own level design map/layout concept.
Modeling with Maya, tiling textures made with substance, and surface details added via world position offset shaders on pre-tessellated or pre-subdivided static meshes.
