Update (2021 scene - 2014 era models)
Upcycled the characters into an Unreal Editor 5 Raytrace lit scene with a sprinkling of some Megascans assets and an HDRI from Polyhaven. These were the results after just a few hours of updating and tinkering with these 6 year old shaders, environment lighting, and keeping the oooold models as is with their amateur level hair cards. 9/7/2021
Last Desc (4 years old)
2 years+ in the making this project is an on going learning process to see how realistic I could make a real time scene look. First it started out with the two characters in separate files over in Marmoset. Now they have been transitioned into Unreal Editor 4 while I slowly relearn how to utilize settings within engine that can make characters and environments look more realistic. References taken from the movie Edge of Tomorrow. I do not own the original designs from the feature film, this is purely fan art.
