2018-2019 Early development work on Rocksmith+
Created a western-style dragon headstock featuring a sculpted and baked base mesh asset attached to a totally non UVed tile triplanar shaded generic guitar body asset. I created a hybrid shader which could accept the correct baked assets base PBR intended normals and AO while also allowing for the merged influence of a completely tiled texture set which had dynamically driven texel density based on the cameras distance. All tiling textures were 1K while the baked components texture set, including a general transmission mask for gem/stone/jade/resin/amber-like materials were kept down to 2K at runtime. Headstock, metallic/bone tuning keys, and the guitar wood/neck elements were all dynamically colorable based on gray scale tiling (or baked in the dragons/bone parts case) textuer sets. These assets were all simply made for shader test purposes during early development of assets for Rocksmith+.
